Welcome to the Jared West Legacy Foundation community, where belonging, kindness, courage, learning, positive life choices, and the well-being of youths and young adults is encouraged and supported.

Jared West made a difference in the lives of so many and had a bright future ahead of him. He welcomed and appreciated people for who they were, fostering inclusiveness and togetherness. Jared had the ability to lead as an equal, listen without judgment, lift others up, and radiate love and kindness.  Jared led a life where he was unapologetically himself, finding the humor, fun, and silver lining in any circumstance. He would go out of his way to support and encourage others and genuinely loved his family and friends. Jared was someone you wanted to be around, as he loved life and showed you how to embrace it every day.

Through Jared’s hard-work, leadership, and perseverance, he accomplished so much in his 23 years, including holding the office of President of Phi Kappa Sigma and receiving a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Construction Management.

Through this Foundation’s scholarships and charitable giving, we strive to create that bright future Jared was unable to have.
